Sunshine, smiles… and record-breaking sales at Udderlicious!

Guess what all this lovely weather has been doing for sales at Udderlicious? Yep, you guessed it – Brits love their sweet treats all year round, but the first hint of sun and out come the ice creams!

The past weekend was the busiest ever for all three Udderlicious stores, with queues stretching out the door and down the road. Other shop owners in the street must have been wondering what’s happening…and probably feeling more than just a little envious!

And it’s not just the ice cream either. They’ve seen a really booming trade in cakes for birthday parties and other celebration, and in take-away tubs to enjoy later at home or add to a dinner party menu as the ultimate finishing touch.

Their range of ice cream milkshakes is also making a huge splash…I mean what’s not to like?

Incredibly, the Udderlicious team have also somehow managed to find a few spare minutes between feeding the masses their favourite treats to get out there and do their part for the community. Here’s a little update on everything else they’ve been up to:

Finding inspiration from the younger generation

Ice cream always brings out the big kid in anyone, so who better to talk to about new flavours than kids themselves?

Every year, founders Raj and Raj partner with a local school to run a fantastic kids’ enterprise project. The brief? Dream up a brand-new ice cream flavour, pitch it Dragon’s Den-style… and then make it for real in-store! It’s fun, creative, and gives kids a taste of what it’s like to be an entrepreneur (while tasting a lot of ice cream too, obviously…)

The children’s creations were Banana, Oreo & Raspberry Ripple, and Vanilla, Biscoff, Marshmallow & Chocolate Swirl, as pictured below:

Udderlicious scoops local award!

Other than encouraging the next generation of ice cream entrepreneurs, the Udderlicious team often take part in local charity events and are always looking for ways to give something back to their local community. No wonder then that their Crouch End store won the Community Impact Award from the Haringey Heroes for “Bringing fun and joy to Crouch End through their delicious and exciting ice cream flavours, their passion for supporting the local community, and sustainable business ethos.”

Sponsored by the mayor, this award celebrates businesses that go above and beyond – and the Udderlicious franchise is a shining example of how a owning a business like this can be as rewarding personally as it is financially. It’s not just an opportunity to make a great living, but also to improve the lives of everyone around you, as well as your own!

Is it time you were a part of it?

With two new partners now looking for premises in the capital to open their own Udderlicious stores, word is spreading about what a great brand this is – and just how much it offers as a franchise.

If you’re curious about what an Udderlicious franchise could look like in your life, let’s talk. No pressure, just a friendly chat.
